THE BASICS

What is the Open Work Permit for Vulnerable Workers?

Most employer-specific permits keep you tied to one employer, even a bad one. This open permit is for people who are being abused, or are at risk of it, in their job. It lets you work for another employer while you recover and look for work.

What the process looks like

  1. 1

    Talk to us in confidence

Tell us what is happening. Nothing is shared without your say.

  2. 2

    Gather what shows the risk

Messages, pay records, a statement from you, and anything else that explains your situation.

  3. 3

    We prepare and file

We write the application clearly and file it, so you do not have to explain it alone.

Is the situation urgent or unsafe right now?

If you are in danger, call local emergency services first. We can also point you to support organizations and help with the permit when you are ready.

Worried you will be reported or deported?

The permit exists because workers should not have to choose between their safety and their status. We explain your options honestly.

Do you need proof?

You do not need a court finding. We help you present what you have, even if it is only your own account and a few messages.

Why VisaOClock

Why choose VisaOClock

Immigration is high stakes and full of small rules. Here is what you get when we handle it with you.

  1. Licensed professionals review every file

A regulated consultant or lawyer checks your application before anything is submitted.

  2. An AI assistant that explains things plainly

Ask a question at 2am and get a clear answer based on your file, not a generic search result.

  3. One dashboard for the whole journey

Documents, deadlines and decisions in one place, from first question to final result.

  4. Deadlines tracked so you don’t have to

We watch your expiry dates and filing windows, and remind you well before they matter.

  5. Honest advice, even when it is not what you hoped

If a route is weak, we say so, and point you to a better one instead of taking your fee.
